Imagine it's five years from now and you are lying in bed. You have just woken up. As you gain consciousness, you feel a sense of calm and gratitude. Everything in your body feels at ease. Thoughts start to creep into your head and it dawns on you that you are exactly where you had hoped to be, on this day, at this moment.
Now, look around you. Where are you? What do you see?
As you surface and start your day, you anticipate the hours ahead.
What does it look like? How are you going to spend your time? What commitments do you have? What are you looking forward to doing? How do you feel about the activities mapped out for your day?
Your mind, body and actions are in alignment and your purpose is clear.
But how did you get here? What steps did you need to take? How did you overcome the challenges?
Being able to clearly visualise where you want to be in five years or less, is only the beginning of leading a fulfilled life where you are making progress on your goals and executing your vision.
Tony Robbins aptly says “If you don’t know where you want to be in five years, you are already there”
